Stream Deck

Stream Deck is the official Elgato app for managing Stream Deck button displays. This software is essential for using this screen since the Stream Deck has no internal memory and doesn't store button configurations. Any configurations are stored on the PC.

Customize your Stream Deck with various plugins

Stream Deck uses plugins to add actions to the buttons. Elgato includes several very useful plugins by default. For example, those that allow you to create simple and effective macros, access apps through shortcuts, control multimedia settings, manage iCUE, create multiple actions, and much more. If you cannot find the plugin you're looking for, you can go to the official store or add unofficial plugins by simply downloading and running the file. To add a plugin action to the screen, simply drag from the right to the button you want to use it with. After that, you can configure various elements and settings for each button.

Although Stream Deck is aimed at streamers, it has all kinds of uses with infinite configuration possibilities. For streamers, it has shortcuts to switch cameras, mute the microphone, engage lighting, change scenes, and many others.

Style each button and export the setup

Each button on a Stream Deck is a miniature screen. Thanks to this, you can customize the style and design of each button, making it very easy to see which action it's configured for. Your profile settings can be exported for backup purposes or to use your settings on other screens.

The buttons on Stream Deck can also be configured simply to display information. For example, you can use plugins such as HWiNFO to monitor different PC parts' temperature and resource consumption, such as the CPU, RAM, graphics card, or storage space. You can also view network activity and much more.
